Job Description

1. Development of painting solutions for various customers, liquid and powder
2. Set painting parameters based on specification
3. Evaluate vendor supplies and samples for quality and specification.
4. Implement cleaning, painting process and inspection controls
5. Optimizing current processes
6. Maintaining process documents
7. Design and develop inhouse painting process based on customer requirement
8. Conduct tests and coordinate with agencies for optimizing the solutions for the customer.

Responsibility

1. Design and improve coating processes, including paint applications, to enhance product durability and aesthetics. 
2. Provide knowledge of coating materials, application processes, and technology relevant to specific projects. 
3. Manage coating projects from conception through implementation, ensuring adherence to quality standards and timelines.
4. Conduct extensive research and testing to develop new coatings or improve existing ones, focusing on performance and cost-effectiveness.
5. Work closely with engineering teams, customers, and suppliers to ensure that coating    solutions meet client specifications and industry standards.
6. Prepare technical documents, including specifications, procedures, and inspection plans related to coating works. 

Qualifications

1. The incumbent should have relevant bachelor degree / or relevant field or Manufacturing engineering.
2. Minimum 6-8 years of experience in similar field of painting and process engineering
3. Hands on experience in development of painting solutions.
4. Working Knowledge of English, Tamil and communication is a must.
