Description
Role: Event Producer – Global B2B Summits (Real Estate, Investment & Hospitality)
Role Overview
This is a strategic role responsible for shaping the intellectual and commercial backbone of high-value B2B events.
The Event Producer owns the agenda, speaker lineup, and overall content direction of international summits. The role directly influences how the event is positioned in the market, who attends, and whether it drives meaningful business outcomes.
This is not a coordination role. You are expected to operate with ownership, commercial awareness, and the ability to translate market insight into a product that attracts sponsors, delegates, and decision-makers.
Your output determines the perceived value of the event.
Key Responsibilities
A. Content & Agenda Development
- Design commercially relevant, insight-led agendas that reflect current market realities
- Identify key industry themes across real estate, investment, hospitality, and design
- Structure sessions to maximise engagement, deal-making, and audience retention
- Continuously refine content based on market feedback and stakeholder input
B. Speaker Acquisition & Management
- Identify, approach, and secure high-calibre speakers, including C-level executives, investors, developers, and government stakeholders
- Build and maintain relationships with senior decision-makers globally
- Ensure speaker alignment with agenda objectives and commercial positioning
- Manage speaker communication, expectations, and deliverables
C. Market Research & Intelligence
- Conduct ongoing primary and secondary research on industry trends, projects, and capital flows
- Map key companies, investors, developers, and influencers in target markets
- Translate research into actionable insights that shape agenda and event positioning
- Stay ahead of emerging markets and sectors relevant to event growth
D. Stakeholder Coordination
- Work closely with sales, marketing, and partnerships teams to align content with revenue objectives
- Support sponsorship strategy through content positioning and speaker alignment
- Coordinate with external stakeholders, including partners, associations, and institutions
- Ensure all teams are aligned on event narrative and target audience
E. Event Execution Support
- Oversee delivery of the agenda during the event
- Manage speaker flow, session timing, and stage execution
- Act as the primary point of contact for speakers on-site
- Ensure a seamless, high-quality experience for all participants
Commercial Alignment
The Event Producer is directly responsible for strengthening the commercial performance of the event.
This includes:
- Designing agendas that increase sponsor relevance and perceived value
- Securing speakers who attract high-quality delegates and investors
- Supporting delegate acquisition through strong, market-driven content
- Enhancing overall event positioning to justify premium pricing
Your work must contribute to:
- Higher sponsorship conversion
- Stronger delegate quality
- Increased repeat participation
- Clear revenue impact
Candidate Profile
- 3–7 years of experience in conference production, B2B media, or industry research roles (number of years can vary)
- Proven experience working on high-level conferences, summits, or content-driven platforms
- Exposure to real estate, investment, infrastructure, or hospitality sectors is preferred
- Demonstrated ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders, including C-suite executives
- Strong research capability with the ability to convert insight into structured content
Required Skills
- Agenda design with strong narrative and commercial relevance
- High-level stakeholder engagement and relationship building
- Industry research and analytical thinking
- Clear, concise communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to operate under pressure and deliver within tight timelines
- Strong ownership mindset with minimal reliance on supervision
Performance Metrics
- Quality and relevance of agenda, measured through delegate and sponsor feedback
- Number and seniority of confirmed speakers
- Conversion impact on sponsorship and delegate acquisition
- Engagement levels during sessions (attendance, participation, retention)
- Ability to deliver milestones on time (agenda release, speaker confirmations)
What Success Looks Like
A high-performing Event Producer builds events that the market respects.
They consistently deliver:
- Agendas that reflect real industry priorities, not generic themes
- Speaker lineups that include decision-makers, not just participants
- Events that attract the right audience, not just volume
- Content that drives conversations, partnerships, and deals
They become a trusted connector between capital, projects, and ideas.
Their events are commercially strong, content-driven, and repeatable.
Tone & Positioning
This role is built for individuals who want ownership and accountability.
It requires:
- Sharp thinking
- Speed of execution
- Commercial awareness
- Comfort operating at senior levels
- If you are looking for a purely operational role, this is not the right fit.
